LOJEL was founded in Japan in 1989 by a young entrepreneur named Chih Chang Chiang. After years of sewing and selling bags at local markets, Chiang was able to take his product concepts to Toyama, Japan to start manufacturing luggage. Laying the foundation for LOJEL’s transformative journey – reimagining the world of travel essentials.

Today, under the leadership of our founder’s grandson An Chieh Chiang, LOJEL’s unwavering commitment to producing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern movement has allowed us to transcend our roots in travel and seamlessly integrate into the fabric of daily routines.

We are committed to working with the best the world has to offer, which is why 30 years ago we chose to partner with a highly-certified manufacturer. Today, the same partner’s factories in China and Indonesia still diligently maintain ethical standards and are pioneers of high-quality production and manufacturing processes.
